Louboutin Love

At the weekend I went to London, exciting I know, even more exciting that I went to the Design Museum! To see my first love Christian Louboutins! Christian Louboutin has been designing shoes and handbags and all things gorgeous for 20 years (or 20ans) he celebrated this by showing a retrospetive of his career. It had hundreds and thousands of the red soled pieces of art, and also had a fetish gallery where the shoes were quite literally impossible and designed purely for the artist taste. Another section of the exhibition hosted a lifesize carousel with a pair of shoes hanging from each cushion, aswell as a lifesize 3D hologram of Dita Von Tesse doing all things burlesque in a pair of her good friends iconic shoes!

My favourite part however was the 20 iconic shoes in 20 years which consisted of shoes made from palm bark, mackrel skin, guiness cans and my favourite where the Rolls Royce bonnet shoes these were the truly bespoke shoes. As you werent allowed to take photographs inside I have managed to get a few from the @DesignMuseum twitter feed, but of course I had one outside the entrance. New favourite photo (unitl I own a pair)
